Welcome to Beto’s blog. The objective is to explore, in a critical fashion, complicated topics that highlight how inequality is reproduced at a micro and macro level. The cliché, “History repeats itself” is often used to reference events that reproduce dominance and inequality but seldom are individuals/collectives willing to interrogate their contribution to the repetition of events. It is not my intention to single out any one person or group, rather, to problematize issues within the complexities of our times.

The limitations of social media inspired this blog, particularly the difficulty of expressing complicated ideas within confined spaces.
